Short-Term Rental Moratorium - Effective Immediately (6/11/26)

On June 11, 2026, the Coventry Township Board of Trustees approved a one-year moratorium on new Short-Term Rental permits within Coventry Township. During the moratorium, no new Short-Term Rental permits will be issued.
The purpose of the moratorium is to allow the Township time to review and update the existing zoning regulations governing Short-Term Rentals. This process will help ensure that the Township's regulations reflect the needs of our community while providing clear standards for property owners and operators.
Residents, property owners, and other interested parties are encouraged to share their questions, comments, or input regarding Short-Term Rental regulations. Please contact Zoning Inspector Rob Henwood at r.henwood@coventrytownship.com.
