Voter Education

GENERAL ELECTION - NOVEMBER 4, 2008

Summit County Board of Elections will host "Voter Education Booths" at summer events throughout Summit County.  The education booths will distribute information regarding voter registration, absentee voting, booth worker application, and voter identification.  The Board of Elections staff will also be on-hand to assist voters with questions relating to elections and the voting process.

The upcoming General Election will take place on November 4, 2008.  Vote early... vote absentee!  Absentee voting will be held 35 days before the election, starting September 30th at the Job Center, 1040 E. Tallmadge Ave, Akron 44310.  No absentee voting will take place at the Board of Elections office, all absentee voters must go to the Job Center.
