Eligible Senior Citizens or permanently disabled homeowners will receive an exemption on the first $25,000.00 of appraised value from taxation for a single family home. Summit County Housing Assistance Programs Summit County receives funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under the CDBG and HOME programs to provide a number of housing-oriented programs for low-to-moderate income households living within Summit County, but outside the Cities of Akron, Barberton or Cuyahoga Falls. Summit County currently has two programs to assist those who qualify. |
